The mystery message above is:

Peace reveals itself in me.

Peace perceives itself in you.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with

these words and know they are simple truth – for any “me” and any “you”.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 3-1-23

God is at once the conceiver of every idea, the creative energy manifesting every idea into form, the intelligent structure of every form, and the substance from which every structure is composed. God is all there is and all there is is God. Therefore, love is all there is because God is love; life is all there is because God is life; peace is all there is because God is peace.

We see hatred, death, and strife in the world because we have forgotten this immutable and eternal underlying Truth. Let us be reminded, that is, let us re-mind ourselves, transform our minds and our awareness back to the truth behind all appearance, so that we lead with this thought: peace is the nature of reality, all else is ego-produced human illusion, so I choose to live from this truth. I choose to live in peace, as peace. We are now poised to promulgate peace on Earth – let’s do it!

If this resonates with you, you might take 15 – 20 minutes to sit in this idea and allow it to saturate your consciousness, then release the ego’s illusion and live your true nature.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 2-22-23

I live and move and have my being in God. God made me out of Its own Self, Its own Substance. There is no place where I end and God begins – there is no place where God ends and I begin. There is only the One Life expressing in an infinitude of beings, and I am one of them. So are you. So is your mother, so is your son, so is your friend, and so is the one you cannot yet call “friend”. So is every living being. That means we cannot wish harm to another without wishing it for ourselves. We cannot wish ANYTHING for another without wishing it for ourselves. Likewise, we cannot intend any experience of good, of joy, of peace for ourselves without intending it for all living beings. Let us, therefore, stop sending mixed signals to the Universe - no more ill wishes for ANYONE, regardless of what we perceive their intentions to be! Let us intend only Peace, affirm only Peace, accept only Peace and live only Peace.

If this resonates with you, please take 15 – 20 minutes to sit with these thoughts. Let them sink in – into your mind, your heart, and your soul – until you feel the Peace, until you radiate the Peace, until you ARE the Peace.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 2-15-23

We pause in quiet reflection to offer this prayer for a peaceful

world. In our individual and personal ways, we call upon the

Holy One who sustains our lives and who inspires us to live

with compassion and kindness and peace. We ask for daily

guidance in all of our personal relationships; in our work and

play, and in our community involvement that we might model

the possibilities of peace in everything we say and in

everything we do. We pray for wisdom and compassion within

the hearts and minds of all world leaders who have the power

and the responsibility of making decisions that impact the

presence of peace. We pray for courage, dedication, and

integrity within the spirits of all those who work for peace

around the world. We pray for all those who harbor thoughts

and feelings of hatred, violence, and greed that their hearts

and minds and souls will be transformed into Your likeness

of compassion and kindness. We are thankful for Your

presence within our lives and ask for Your blessing as we try to

live peaceful lives and seek ways for all people to live in

harmony and peace.

Dr. John Heidel’s Interfaith Prayer

HAWAII CONFERENCE OF RELIGIONS FOR PEACE

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with

these words and allow them to resonate in, through and as your day.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 2-8-23

A hologram is a picture that is composed of a multitude of miniatures of itself. That is, if you shatter a holographic slide and then examine the shards, each one will contain the entire image. This phenomenon appears frequently in nature – in the crystalline structure of stones, in the growth pattern of ferns, in the structure of a conch shell, etc. Of course, we know that Nature is another name for God, so we are not surprised to realize that this term can be applied to humans, as well – we are holograms of God!

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit silently and absorb this delightful fact: all that God is IS in you, and in every living being, so we are absolutely one. Now contemplate this question: as we are one life how could we not be at peace, in Peace, which is the nature of God, which is our nature?

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 2-1-23

Perhaps we fail to experience peace because we expect it to appear in a vacuum – no activity, no noise, no distractions. Consider the whales who live peacefully in the ocean – they are always moving; they sing and dance through the waves, and yet they are at peace. Perhaps we could be more like whales, moving with the waves of life, singing our gratitude for nature and for life, joyful in just being. Surely, such a heart would be at peace. Surely, such peace would be infectious. Why not give it a try?

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sing the whales’ song in your own heart and mind, and then watch the waves of peace ripple out.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-25-23

Today’s meditation is inspired by the Gandhi blessing and the traditional Metta blessing:

May I have air to breath – clean, clear and abundant.

May I have food to eat – pure, wholesome and healthy.

May I have family to love – joyful, gracious and extended.

May I have work to do – worthwhile, satisfying and appreciated.

May I know beauty, music, laughter and reverence in every experience.

May you have air to breath – clean, clear and abundant.

May you have food to eat – pure, wholesome and healthy.

May you have family to love – joyful, gracious and extended.

May you have work to do – worthwhile, satisfying and appreciated.

May you know beauty, music, laughter and reverence in every experience.

May all have air to breath – clean, clear and abundant.

May all have food to eat – pure, wholesome and healthy.

May all have family to love – joyful, gracious and extended.

May all have work to do – worthwhile, satisfying and appreciated.

May all know beauty, music, laughter and reverence in every experience.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit in the silence with these words and feel the peace that is the inevitable result of their fulfillment.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-18-23

Deep within the still center of my being, may I find peace. Silently within the quiet of the Grove, may I share peace. Gently and powerfully within the greater circle of humankind, may I radiate peace. May the peace of the goddess grow in our hearts, and the dance of the god enliven our days. And may we care for the Earth and each other because our lives depend on it. May our intention be to empower the true light within that

enables us to transform our lives, reach out to others, and heal our ailing Earth.

~~ Pagan prayer for peace, “Peace in the Midst,

Interfaith Prayers for Peace”, Unity World Headquarters

If this resonates with you, you might take 15 – 20 minutes to absorb this affirmation. Allow it to color your outlook as you take it into your heart space and experience its Truth.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-11-23

You cannot pour anything from an empty pitcher, so today we will focus on filling the pitcher. There is in each of us a place so still, so calm, so filled with peace that it cannot be disturbed. Some call it the secret place of the most high. It is always there, it has always been there, it will always be there, because it is that part of a person that is the point of contact – the place that never forgets that there is only One – the very god-ness of a human being. If we allow it, that place can expand to fill our hearts, minds, and consciousness. When we are filled with the conscious awareness of the Oneness, peace is no longer an option – it is the very atmosphere in which we live and the pitcher is, indeed, full.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to gift yourself with 15 – 20 minutes to sit with this thought in that still place, feel the pitcher filling up, then pour it out to all around you, to the entire human race, to the entire planet, knowing your pitcher is bottomless!

World Peace Meditation for 8-19-20

On this day I dedicate myself to peace on Earth.

I accept myself without harsh judgment and express appreciation for my individuality.

I live without fear and meet the events of this day with confidence.

I accept others without prejudice and experience a sense of unity with all people.

In harmony with myself, my life and all others, live this day with a peaceful mind, a peaceful heart and a peaceful spirit.

WORLD PEACE PRAYER

By Rev. Duke Tufty

If this resonates with you, you might take 15 – 20 minutes to bask in the beauty and truth of this affirmative prayer. Let us all accept this truth as our own and fan the flame of its expression in our hearts.

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 9-9-20

In many faith traditions, children are taught that “There is no spot where God is not”, and yet we all forget. Today, close your eyes and imagine the biggest “thing” we know about, the Universe. See its enormity, its vastness, its light and color, and feel yourself at the center of it, knowing there is no corner of the universe where God is not. Now imagine the smallest thing you can believe in, say, the sub-atomic Higgs boson, a particle also known as the “God particle”, and feel the presence of God there, as well.

This is a reminder that we do not need to “seek” God, because we are immersed in It, and since God is Peace, we are immersed in and inseparable from infinite peace. We cannot create peace because it is already everywhere, but our task, should we choose to accept it, is to reveal, expose, uncover, and real-ize peace. What covers it up? What blinds us to its presence? Is it war, famine, or poverty? No. What blinds us to peace is man-made. It is ideas, illusions of “you” and “me”, “us” and “them”, “here” and “there”, “OTHER”. How can we dispel these illusions and experience peace? By embracing and realizing the Truth: there is no OTHER; we are one, one life, one love, one essence. So our charge today is to bring this truth into our hearts so fully that it spills over and illuminates our homes, our communities, our nations, and our world.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes in the silence to take these words into your mind, heart and consciousness, then, if you choose to accept the charge, go out and BE the peace you seek in the world.

World Peace Meditation for 9-16-20

Peace within me; peace around me.

I begin this day by calming my mind and centering myself through prayer. Finding a quiet place for a moment of solace, I relax into the process of connecting with my God-center, the I AM of me. With eyes closed and heart open, I rest. In the stillness, there are no outer distractions. Soon I am in alignment with infinite peace deep within me. I am at peace. I AM peace.

As I stay in this healing abode of peace, I sense the stirring of something new: a more active peace; an inner strength that is dynamic and present in the world, not separate from it. From this sacred center at the core of my being, I engage with life and fulfill my purpose in new and satisfying ways. Peace restores and energizes me to do what is mine to do.

Peace within me; peace around me.

~ Daily Word

If this resonates with you, you might take 15 – 20 minutes to sit in the silence at the center of your being and allow these words to restore and energize you, then go out and BE PEACE.

World Peace Meditation for 9-23-20

These words by Sufi poet Rumi speak to a sense of oneness and harmony among all beings: “Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrongdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” When news from throughout the world seems less than harmonious, I reaffirm to myself that peace is possible.

In a quiet, prayerful moment, I affirm words of truth: One with all beings, I radiate peace to the world. I let these tranquil words sink deeply into my being and reflect on what they mean to me. I completely embody peace, for peace is my true nature. I am one with all beings. My peaceful thoughts, words, and actions support my relationships with all people and help to create a world that works for everyone.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words, envision that field and then go there!

 Mahatma Gandhi said:

Your beliefs become your thoughts

Your thoughts become your words

Your words become your actions

Your actions become your habits

Your habits become your values

Your values become your destiny

Let us therefore, establish and maintain a steadfast belief in

world peace as the natural state of the human race.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit in

the silence and root this belief in the deepest part of your

consciousness, knowing that this action reveals the peace

at your core. In this way, you throw a pebble into the pond

of human awareness whose ripples will spread and expand.

                                                                    Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 10-7-20

Peace on earth does not mean one universal government, one universal culture, one universal religion.

It means one universal heart, one universal life, one universal mind that encompasses, recognizes, and honors all governments, all cultures, all religions, and in which all governments, all cultures and all religions recognize, honor, and respect all others as unique, but not separate.

This is universal love, expressing in a multitude of forms, each unique and valuable, each aware of its true nature of peace and oneness. This is harmony in every heart.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15 – 20 minutes to sit in this possibility. Let harmony arise in your inner world and watch it spread across your life, your neighborhood, and the planet.

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 10-14-20

What we think determines what we experience, and humans think not in words but in pictures, so here is a picture for your minds today:

Think of a place where peace is not evident, the first on Earth that you think of is the one to choose. Now see that place filled with the pink light of love, surrounding and suffusing every person, every building, every square inch of land. Know that you are sending that love, with your whole heart, and that your love will be met with that of others, some there, some here, some you don’t even know about. Know also that this love eradicates fear, which eradicates hate, and leaves only peace - pure, unadulterated peace. Imagine how powerful it would be if we chose the whole planet as the target of this vision!

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minute for this silent exercise. Sit in it until that pink light fills you to overflowing and colors your day with peace.

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 11-4-20

Today we focus on light as the symbol for our meditation. Light has been used as a symbol for life, for love, for understanding, and for God Itself for as long as people have used symbols. It is a powerful and moving symbol because it IS energy in motion – light never stand still. By its very nature it is constantly expanding and it travels without effort for years. We know this because we have watched a candle flicker, seen a searchlight’s beam, and observed the stars in the night sky. Scientists tell us the light we see as stars has traveled for years, sometimes centuries, to reach our eyes, so we can easily accept that light is eternal. Today, as we settle into the silence, let us repeat, silently or aloud these words:

I see the eternal light of God,

I know the unlimited light of understanding,

I feel the unconditional light of love,

I am the infinite light of peace.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes and let each word, each phrase, resonate within your center until you truly radiate the light of peace.

                                                                    Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 11-11-20

What is peace? Peace is an inner calm, suffused with an ineffable and awesome joy. It comes from a conscious awareness of the presence of God in, through, around and as all life. It can be experienced anywhere, at any time. It happens when we release the illusion of separation and remember the Truth – that we are all One life. Imagine that Truth in every heart on Earth.

If this resonates with you, please give yourself the gift of 15-20 minutes to sit with these words. Allow all illusion to fade and experience the peace that TRULY passes all understanding.

World Peace Meditation for 11-18-20

Ernest Holmes liked to say that the Universe was a Divine mathematical equation:

1 Life = God Life = ALL life = my life

I found myself adapting this into a conscious breathing meditation:

                                                           Breathing in:      One

                                                           Breathing out:   Life

                                                           Breathing in:      God

                                                           Breathing out:   Life

                                                           Breathing in:      My

                                                           Breathing out:   Life

                                                           Breathing in:      ALL

                                                           Breathing out:   Life

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit in this silent exercise. Notice that your breathing becomes deep and easy as you relax into the Oneness that is Peace.

                                                                    Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 11-25-20

What separates us is the differences we perceive, but Truth is universal and there is a golden thread of Truth that runs through every tradition. It shows up on every spiritual path, clothed in the language of that path, but it is ALWAYS there. This golden thread is in every one of us, and if we found it, we could wrap it on the loom of our consciousness and weave it together with a Namaste outlook to produce a golden tapestry of peace that would enfold all people, the whole planet, the whole universe in light, love, and harmony.

If this resonates with you, you might sit a while in the silence and find your strand of this golden thread – then start weaving!

                                                                    Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 12-2-20

CSL Minister, Rev. Dr. Chris Michaels, once told me that his dream was to address the General Assembly of the United Nations. His message to them would consist of only three words: WAR IS OBSOLETE! It seems to me we have seen in recent times ample evidence of the truth of this statement.

War solves NOTHING. It causes pain, inflicts damage, and promotes hate, but it solves nothing. War can no longer be justified (if ever it could) as a means to peace. We must look to a new method of international, national, and personal interaction. We must find in ourselves the center of divinity incarnated as the essence of every human being and we mus allow that to be the basis of all human intercourse.

We know that there is only one life, the Life of God, and that it fills the universe as the only animating force in it. That means the very same life is in you that is in me, the very same life is in Democrats that is in Republicans, the very same life is in Ukrainians that is in Russians, Syrians, French and American, the very same life that is in Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and atheists. Imagine how hard it would be to have a war if you always saw your own life in your opponent.

Today, I invite you to spend 15-20 minutes allowing this truth to saturate your awareness, to feel its irresistible power, and then, when you have it in your full consciousness, I invite you to spend one day on the following exercise: in every encounter with another person, whether in person, over the phone, in the media, or in your own mind, choose to see that person’s face as a mirror of your own. Now I ask you, how could you respond with anything but peace and love?

                                                                    Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 12-9-20

In this peace that holds me so gently I find strength and

protection from all fear or anxiety.

It is the peace of God in which I feel the love of a Holy Presence.

I am so conscious of this love, this protection, that every sense of

fear slips away from me as mist fades in the morning light.

I see good in everything, God personified in all people, Life

manifest in every event.

Spirit is not separate from persons or events; I see that It unites

everything with Itself, vitalizing all with the energy of Its own

being, creating everything through Its own divine imagination,

surrounding everything with peace and quiet and calm.

I am one with this deep, abiding peace.

I know that all is well.

-Ernest Holmes & Raymond Charles Barker, Richer Living

I invite you to take 15 – 20 minutes to sit with these words in the silence. Allow them to fill you will an awareness of the peace that is your nature. When all people feel peace within themselves, it MUST manifest among them, too.

                                                         Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 12-16-20

“The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers and when they realize at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and its center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.”

This quote from Black Elk of the Oglala tribe is the essence of our goal – to bring peace on earth, one heart at a time. If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words in the silence and feel the center of the universe in your own heart.

                                                         Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 12-23-20

One cannot know peace until one can BE peace.

One cannot be peace until one can SEE peace,

not as one sees a rose,

soft and pink and glowing, an object beheld,

but as one sees love.

That is, one must see with the eyes of peace,

eyes that can behold only peace, only love, only truth.

At that point, of course, there will be nothing to see but peace,

nothing to be but peace,

nothing to know but peace.

If this resonates with you, this Christmas Adam, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words, let them absorb your mind, your heart, your eyes, SEE peace and then BE peace.

World Peace Meditation for 12-30-20

I know there is but One Mind, which is the mind of God, in which all people live and move and have their being.

I know there is a divine pattern for humanity and within this pattern there is infinite harmony and peace, cooperation, unity, and mutual helpfulness.

I know that the mind of humankind, being one with the mind of God, shall discover the method, the way, and the means best fitted to permit the flow of Divine Love between individuals and nations.

Thus harmony, peace, cooperation, unity, and mutual helpfulness are experienced by all.

I know there will be a free interchange of ideas, of cultures, of spiritual concepts, of ethics, of educational systems and scientific discoveries – for all good belongs to all alike.

I know that, because Divine mind has created us all, we are bound together in on infinite and perfect unity.

I know that all people and all nations will remain individual but unified for the common purpose of promoting peace, happiness, harmony, and prosperity.

I know that deep within each person the Divine Pattern of perfect peace is already implanted.

I now declare that in each person and in leaders of thought everywhere this Divine Pattern moves into action and form, to the end that all nations and all people will live together in peace, harmony, and prosperity forever.

And so it is.

If this resonates with you, please take 15 – 20 minutes to bask in the beauty and truth of this affirmative prayer, written by Ernest Holmes in 1927. Let us all accept this truth as our own and fan the flame of its expression in our hearts.

Happy New Year!

World Peace Meditation for 1-6-21

As I consider what we can do to reveal World peace, these thoughts came to me:

Perform Every Action Centered Entirely in God.

Practice Eternal Awareness Constantly Evolving as God.

Perceive Each Attitude’s Calm Expression of God.

PEACE in God

PEACE as God

PEACE of God

If this resonates with you, you might take 15 – 20 minutes to sit with these words. Let them resonate within you. Let them be the meditation of your heart today.

   Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-13-21

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

Ernest Holmes said, “Faith means a conviction about something that is stronger than anything which may appear to deny it.”

Jesus said,” If there is faith in you even as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move away from here, and it will move away; and nothing would prevail over you.” MATT 17:20

Have you ever seen a mustard seed? It is about the size of a 12-font period “.”; surely anyone can muster up that much faith in the possibility of revealing Peace on Earth!

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit in the

silence with these words and visualize that tiny seed of faith in your consciousness, nurture it with love and water it with faith – feel the

peace blossom in your heart and spread across the globe.

World Peace Meditation for 1-20-21

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. proclaimed “Darkness cannot conquer darkness, only light can do that. Hatred cannot conquer hatred, only love can do that.” In addition, I believe that war cannot conquer warfare, only peace can do that.

Darkness, of itself, has no substance, it is only that which remains when we turn away from light, although light always exists. Hatred, of itself, has no substance, it is only that which remains when we cannot feel love – although love is never absent. War, of itself, has no existence, it is only that which remains when we suppress the peace that is always at the core of our being. Let us make a commitment, each individual, to live in a constant awareness of the truth of light, love, and peace as eternal verities, as the essence of all life, and as the only acceptable possibility for our world.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit in silence with these words. Let them fill your heart and consciousness with the presence of the only Truth – light, love, and peace are the essence of life.

World Peace Meditation for 1-27-21

                                                                  Perceive

                                                                  Each

                                                                  Atom

                                                                  Connected

                                                                  Eternally

Science of Mind teaches, and quantum physics confirms, that every atom is connected in some way with every other atom. Every part of me is connected to the entire universe, to the trees, the mountains, the oceans, to the sun and moon and the stars, and to every part of you! We are all expressions, manifestations of the same energy. The forms are different, the appearances vary, but the essence is the same. This is the definition of oneness, and the only condition for peace is an awareness of that oneness.

Please take 15-20 minutes to sit in this awareness and feel your connection to all that is – you are a part of the stars and the planets, connected to all animals and plants and people – in that connection is the source and the experience of perfect and lasting peace. Soak it in and spread it around.

World Peace Meditation for 2-3-21

In the movie “Avatar” there is a greeting that expresses the nature, and the naturalness, of peace. The people of that distant planet knew themselves as one life, one organism, one Truth, so whenever two people met, their greeting was, “I see you.” When we can live in that unshakable sense of Oneness, when we no longer need to remind ourselves that there is no place where God ends and we start, no place where we end and God starts, then we, too, will greet each other with this acknowledgement: I SEE you, and peace will be fully, completely, irrevocably revealed on Earth.

If this resonates with you, if you SEE its truth, please take 15 – 20 minutes to sit in the silence and contemplate our Oneness, to SEE yourself, then observe how you begin to SEE others. I SEE you!

World Peace Meditation for 2-10-21

Perhaps we fail to experience peace because we expect it to appear in a vacuum – no activity, no noise, no distractions. Consider the whales who live peacefully in the ocean – they are always moving; they sing and dance through the waves, and yet they are at peace. Perhaps we could be more like whales, moving with the waves of life, singing our gratitude for nature and for life, joyful in just being. Surely, such a heart would be at peace. Surely, such peace would be infectious. Why not give it a try?

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sing the whales’ song in your own heart and mind, and then watch the waves of peace ripple out.

World Peace Meditation for 2-17-21

A hologram is a picture that is composed of a multitude of miniatures of itself. That is, if you shatter a holographic slide and then examine the shards, each one will contain the entire image. This phenomenon appears frequently in nature – in the crystalline structure of stones, in the growth pattern of ferns, in the structure of a conch shell, etc. Of course, we know that Nature is another name for God, so we are not surprised to realize that this term can be applied to humans, as well – we are holograms of God!

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit silently and absorb this delightful fact: all that God is IS in you, and in every living being, so we are absolutely one. Now contemplate this question: as we are one life how could we not be at peace, in Peace, which is the nature of God, which is our nature?

World Peace Meditation for 2-24-21

I believe we experience the Presence of God and our oneness with it, and therefore with one another, through our human consciousness. I also believe that every person has a unique and personal spiritual path that leads him/her to that experience of oneness. No two paths are identical, though many overlap, and each one is necessary, valid, sacred, and real.

One of the most common images we use to represent God is white light. For our meditation today, we will use this image, together with the physical laws of light to bring ourselves into a clearer and more powerful awareness of our oneness with God and with one another, that is, into a conscious awareness of peace. When you shine white light (God essence) through a prism (human consciousness), a dazzling array of colors, infinite in number, and absolutely unique, both visible and invisible, is created (our individual spiritual paths).

If this resonates with you, please take a few moments to visualize this beautiful manifestation and imagine each color as a spirit moving towards the prism, joining with all of the other colors to pass through the prism into a perfect experience of oneness and peace. Now take 15 -20 minutes to let this experience flood your being. Let it absorb your attention until you feel it as the essence of who you are. Namaste.

World Peace Meditation for 3-3-21

Where God is recognized, there is life.

Where the power of God is realized, there is action.

Where the goodness of God is acknowledged, there is peace.

Today we are invited take action by sitting for 15-20 minutes with these thoughts, acknowledging that God is omnipresent, and all-good, and basking in the peace we feel now and the assurance of world peace being revealed.

God is Peace. God is the loom upon which this universal tapestry of peace is woven, the warp and the woof and the shuttle and the thread. God is also the weaver who sends the shuttle zipping through the loom, and I am one of the irreplaceable patterns in Its beautiful tapestry. My pattern is essential to the entire tapestry, essential to the peace of planet earth. My pattern is my consciousness, the thoughts I hold in heart and mind, and I commit to keeping them focused on love because peace is love in action. I choose to be love in action. I choose to see, to feel, to know peace from the very center of my being to the outer limits of my life.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words, let them soak into your center and radiate out into your world as peace.

World Peace Meditation for 3-17-21

World Peace is an observable phenomenon in the same way that the Milky Way is an observable phenomenon. The Milky Way exists and is visible only because of the millions of stars and planets that give it form and substance and shape. World Peace exists and is made manifest only because of the millions of peace-filled human hearts and minds that give it presence and expression. No single person can manifest world peace alone, but each heart lit with love and peace becomes a point of light in the galaxy manifesting as World Peace.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with this idea and light your own star, let your own peace catch fire and shine, so that its glow ignites a consciousness that knows only peace, and see the galaxy of World Peace expand.

World Peace Meditation for 3-24-21

World Peace has been the goal and prayer of truth seekers and teachers for millennia, as demonstrated by this poem by Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu, called, “If There Is To Be Peace”:

If there is to be peace on earth,

There must be peace among nations.

If there is to be peace among nations,

There must be peace among cities.

If there is to be peace among cities,

There must be peace in the neighborhoods,

If there is to be peace in the neighborhoods,

There must be peace in the home.

If there is to be peace in the home,

There must be peace in the heart.

Realizing that we must let peace blossom in our hearts in order to let it blossom in race consciousness, we focus our time today on allowing the eternal Presence within to express as peace that suffuses our whole being, that becomes our full focus, that is our essence. If this resonates with you, please take 15 – 20 minutes to invite this experience into your heart. Take hold of it, let it take hold of you, and let it be your Truth.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit in the silence with these words and feel the peace that is the inevitable result of their embodiment.

World Peace Meditation for 4-7-21

I am declaring today to be Global Oneness Day, so we focus our attention on world peace through recognizing, realizing and celebrating oneness:

There is only one Presence, one Power, one Truth in the Universe and it is all God.

The Presence is Light.

The Power is Love.

The Truth is Peace.

The Light guides me,

The Love empowers me,

And Peace is my nature, the nature of all life and it is ours now.

There is only one Life, God’s life. That life is perfect. That life is my life. That life is all life.

One life.

God life.

My life.

All life.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to experience these words until Oneness becomes a part of your consciousness, until you can feel yourself embodying Oneness. Know that by doing this, we raise the consciousness of the entire human Race in Oneness as well.

Gandhi said, “We must be the change we wish to see in the world. “

Ancient Hopis said, “We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

Both statements have the ring of truth, so our exercise for this week is to see ourselves as the ones who are bringing world peace back into manifestation.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these thoughts. Allow your inner vision to behold your true essence as a bringer of peace, a bearer of peace, a being of peace, and then let that vision drive your thoughts, words, and actions this week.

When the topic is world peace, we frequently hear the question, “What can I do, I’m only one person?” and it stops us in our tracks. What we need to understand is that peace is not something to DO, it is something to BE. What we ARE speaks much more loudly than what we say, and since it expresses what we believe, it determines what we experience in our lives. So here’s the assignment for this week: les us make a commitment to BE peace, to hold it in our heart of hearts and at the front of our attention and then relax and observe our experience. How hard could it be? All we have to do is release resentment, resistance, and fear, then all sense of separation disappears and in the oneness that remains, only peace is possible!

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with this assignment and try it on for size – it will fit, and the longer you wear it, the more comfortable and natural it will feel.

Peace is one of the attributes of God. We are expressions of God. Therefore, peace is an attribute of every human being. So, why do we not experience peace? It’s because we don’t allow ourselves to recognize peace as our essence – we do not, in our human busyness, allow ourselves to be present to the peace that is our nature. So today’s exercise is a bit different – today we tithe our presence to that which feeds our spirit, the essence of peace within each of us. Tithing is defined as giving one tenth back to Source, and today we make it the first tenth: set a timer and gift yourself the first six minutes of each hour you are awake today to sit silently in the presence of peace that always lives at the center of your being. Your day will be magical – and the world will be changed. Let world peace be revealed!

If this resonates with you, I invite you to sit a while in the silence and find your strand of this golden thread – then start weaving!

World Peace Meditation for 5-12-21

I have a mind and a body and emotions, but I am not my mind, I am not my body, I am not my emotions. Just as God expresses Its essence through the forms that fill the universe, I express my essence through my mind, my body, and my emotions. I use my mind to perceive the world, I use my body to interact with the world and I use my emotions to feel the human atmosphere of the world. But the essence of who I am, the spirit that animates my body, that perceives through my mind, that recognizes Truth through my emotions is as infinite and eternal as God – it IS God and it lives in the field discovered by Rumi, beyond judgments of right and wrong, in perfect balance, harmony and oneness. As my mind perceives this balance, as my conscious awareness of this Truth expands, my emotions grasp the joy of oneness and bring it into this present moment, and my mind, my body and my emotions are flooded with perfect peace. This is the seed of world peace, planted in every human heart, waiting to be watered with love and nurtured with awareness, to blossom as joy.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words and let them resonate with your mind, body and emotions – feel the oneness and the peace.

World Peace Meditation for 5-19-21

Divine love encircles the world, flowing from heart to heat as peace. At the deepest level of creation, all beings are seeking peace. Underneath the outer shell of every human being beats a heart created in pure love. I pray from this consciousness, visualizing all people connecting with their divine selves and acting from that sacred place.

I envision the world enveloped in peace and wrapped in a warm, flowing channel of divine love. In gratitude, I affirm: Divine love is flowing, connecting, and healing the world and everyone in it. I, too, act upon my inner divinity, recognizing that every word I speak and every action I take can be done in peaceful, loving, and faith-filled ways. Divine love flows from my heart to bless the world.

If this resonates with your heart, please take 15 – 20 minutes to immerse yourself in the flow and feel yourself opening to the peace and love that are the nature of life.

Peace is my job,

Peace is my nature,

Peace is my purpose,

Peace is my Truth.

This simple mantra can change the world. If it resonates with you, please take 15 – 20 minutes to sit in the silence and let this mantra resonate within you, watch it flow into and transform your inner landscape – it must then also transform your outer landscape and the world.

There is a famous photograph of the Earth that was taken from far out in space. It is called the Blue Marble, and most of us have seen it more than once. It show a shining ball of deep blue, brilliant green and warm brown, all of it wreathed in misty white clouds.

There are no boundaries visible except between the water and the land. There is no separation visible except between the water and the land, and somehow, looking at it, we know that separation is illusory, since the water just covers part of the land – the land is

also underneath the water, supporting it. We see only the wholeness, the beauty, and the peace that are the nature of our planet. Let us hold that picture in our hearts, pull our focus back from nations, wars, difference and separation, and allow peace to surface in our hearts and minds – it must then also surface in our experience and in our world.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with this image until it takes root in your heart and in your consciousness, until you feel its essential perfection in your own being.

 Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 6-16-21

I believe compassion is the perfect embodiment of Oneness, the most complete expression of realizing that there is only one Life, so here is our meditation for today:

When I have food, may I remember the hungry;

When I have work, may I remember the jobless;

When I have a warm home, may I remember the homeless;

When I am without pain, may I remember those who suffer;

And remembering, may I release my complacency and bestir my compassion.

May I be concerned enough to help, by word and deed, those who cry out for what I take for granted.

Remembering that “May I” is not a request, but the setting of an intention, please take these words into your heart and sit with them in the silence for 15 – 20 minutes, so that they can become a part of your own consciousness. As part of your consciousness, they will change your actions, your life, and the world!

There is an ancient Sanskrit greeting, NAMASTE (nah-muh-stay), which means “The Divine in me recognizes and honors the Divine in you.” This is the very definition of Oneness, which is another name for Peace. The Namaste outlook never fails to foster peace – especially if you start by applying it to yourself! Look in the mirror and offer yourself a heart-felt NAMASTE; it will carry over into the rest of your day and change how you see everyone and everything; it will prime you for peace!

If this resonates with you, please take 15 -20 minutes to let this recognition of the Divine permeate your consciousness. Let it shift your perception. Let it light your day. Namaste.

Violence is the physical outpicturing of fear.

Fear is the emotional outpicturing of a belief in the illusion of separation.

Let us dispel the illusion of separation by embodying the Truth of Oneness,

and Peace will be revealed, recognized, and real-ized.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to take these thoughts

into your consciousness and allow them to become your own. As we dispel

our individual belief in separation, we raise the consciousness of the human

race to that of Oneness, and peace happens.

Today I am sharing one of the most eloquent pleas for peace written in modern times, the lyrics to John Lennon’s greatest hit, “Imagine”:

Imagine there's no heaven

It's easy if you try

No hell below us

Above us only sky

Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion too

Imagine all the people living life in peace

You, you may say

I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions

I wonder if you can

No need for greed or hunger

A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You, you may say

I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will live as one.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these

words (singing IS allowed) and remember that what we can imagine,

we can achieve.

Today’s meditation is of the mindfulness style. I invite you to take a

moment or two to sit quietly, focusing on your breath. Breathe in a

slow, steady, calm rhythm. When your breath is settled, begin to

chant these words silently in rhythm with your breath:

                                                             Inhale: God is

                                                             Exhale: life

                                                             Inhale: God is

                                                             Exhale: love

                                                             Inhale: God is

                                                             Exhale: peace

                                                             Inhale: I am

                                                             Exhale: life

                                                             Inhale: I am

                                                             Exhale: love

                                                            Inhale: I am

                                                            Exhale: peace

                                                            Inhale: All is

                                                            Exhale: life

                                                            Inhale: All is

                                                            Exhale: love

                                                           Inhale: All is

                                                           Exhale: peace

Repeat this three times, then settle into the silence for a few

minutes until you feel the life, love and peace in, through and

as your being, then allow yourself to live as peace this day.

The illusion that Peace is missing is caused by a belief in the lie of separation. When we believe we are separate one from another, we can imagine that one can be harmed without harming all, and Peace is hidden behind the fear of being the one who is harmed. The solution is simple – we remove the illusion by re-minding ourselves of the Truth:

God’s Life

                       Is my life

                                            Is all life

                                                                Is One life

This is the Truth behind all truth – and when we embrace it, when we return to its vibration, the illusions that obscure Peace in a fog of fear cannot be sustained.

If this resonates with you, you could take 15 – 20 minutes to chant this Truth, silently or aloud, until you feel the connection, the oneness, the Peace.

What makes a computer program work is its underlying algorithm, the set of steps that determine the outcome, so here is an algorithm for revealing your inner peace:

1. Practice releasing fear (false evidence appearing real)

2. Expect perfect outcomes always

3. Accept the abundance of the Universe as yours

4. Choose to see the perfection in every experience

5. Extend your love to every person, place, and thing you encounter

These five simple steps, repeated until they become habit, and then a natural part of life, bring out a flow of grace that harmonizes the world around you. I invite you to give them a chance, as the song says, and see what happens!

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 8-18-21

On December 31, 1994, I took part in an international celebration called PIPN, which stood for Peace Is Possible Now. I believe it is time to change the definition. For me it became Peace Is Personal Now, which has become Peace Is Present Now, which means, in truth, Peace Is Now. We need only shift our awareness a tiny bit to move from the possibility of peace to the experience of peace, and then to the expression of peace. Today let us make the commitment to shift into peace, remembering we can shift as often as necessary, until it becomes, not just our natural state, but also our ‘normal’ state. Let us come in peace, go in peace, BE in peace!

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these thoughts until they become the song your heart sings with each beat.

Namaskar is the familiar or intimate form of Namaste. Namaste is a Sanskrit term that means, “The divine at the core of me greets and honors the divine at the core of you.” Namaskar, being more intimate, can be interpreted as, “There is only divinity in me and it beholds only divinity in you, and honors it.”

When we truly perceive that we live in a universe designed by God, on a planet created by God out of love, peopled by God with expressions of love, we live Namaskar. When we live from a Namaskar heart, a Namaskar consciousness, we cannot conceive of the absence of peace, let alone experience it.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to contemplate this idea, let it take root and blossom in your heart. Namaskar!

World Peace Meditation for 9-1-21

Peace is an inside job, so world peace starts in every individual heart and consciousness:

I am an agent of Peace in this world, an agent of love, an agent of life, an agent of light in this world.

This is my purpose, and my promise, and my gift. I hold this truth in my heart and it is the light that shows me the path to follow. By this light I see the truth of Oneness as I see peace for every being, I feel peace in every being, I know peace hear and now, limitless and eternal for every being.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words until you feel your own vibration rising to meet the peace in every heart around the world.

 Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

PEACE

Performing

Every

Action

Consciously

Engaged

When we are not conscious of the Divine in ourselves and in

everyone and everything around us, we live on auto-pilot, acting

from habit, reflex, or ego, and the result is the extension of the

illusion of separation. When we learn to be conscious, fully present

in each moment, we act from the center of our being, in the

conscious awareness of the central Truth of all existence: God is all

there is, eternally expressing in infinite and unique ways – and

EVERY person, place and thing is part of It. In this awareness, we

cannot accept the illusion of separation – we KNOW our oneness, at

the cellular level, at the atomic level, at the sub-atomic level – we

are One and peace is our Nature, our environment, our very

atmosphere.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with

these words, absorb their message, and real-ize their truth in your

consciousness.

                                                      Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 9-15-21

Peace is the effect of relaxing into Divine Presence,

realizing wholeness as our nature,

recognizing Oneness as the Truth of who we are.

That’s all there is to it. Permanent peace is that simple – AND that easy.

You need only activate it in your own heart, and the effect WILL spread, unstoppably.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with this message, relaxing into it, feeling the natural flow, embodying its Truth.

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 9-22-21

Today, we will try a different style of meditation. We begin by chanting at a speaking volume, then with each repetition, the chant becomes softer, until we are chanting only in our minds. Then we sit with the words until they meld with our being and become a part of our selves. Here’s the chant:

God is Oneness.

God is Peace.

I am of God.

I am of Oneness.

I am of Peace.

Peace is in me.

Peace lives in me.

Peace grows through me.

Peace flows from me.

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 9-29-21

God is all there is – It is the earth, and the trees that grow in the earth; It is the wind that moves the leaves on the trees and caresses my cheek; it is the cheek that feels the caress, and the mind that recognizes the caress. The same presence that moves the leaves where I am and caresses my cheek, moves the leaves everywhere and caresses every cheek – there is only one presence, and it is the presence of God, expressing in, through, and as every living being. We are one in the Presence. We are the presence in expression, so we are love in expression and we are peace in action.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words until you feel God’s caress and know it as your own, then find someone with whom to share it – someone in your heart, perhaps all people could fit there!

                                                      Love and blessings,

Om is a Sanskrit word that is interpreted as “The great, infinite energy of the Universe”, that is, God. Shanti is another Sanskrit word that means, simply, “PEACE”. Today we will take a leaf from the Eastern tradition and chant, slowly and softly:

Om, Shanti

Om, Shanti

Om, Shanti

If this resonates with you, repeat this chant at least three times, or as long as you like, then take 15-20 minutes to sit in its vibration and feel the very atoms of your being vibrating with the Peace of God.

                                                      Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 10-13-21

In Conversations With God, God says to Neal Donald Walsch:

And so I have chosen YOU to be My messenger. You, and many others. For now, during these times immediately ahead, the world will need many             trumpets to sound the clarion call. The world will need many voices to speak the words of truth and healing for which missions long. The world will need many hearts joined together in the work of the soul, and prepared to do the work of God

Is it not the work of the soul, indeed, the work of God in us, to return our world to its native state of peace and harmony? Let us each take 15-20 minutes to hear this call to service and when we hear it, to respond from the heart. Peace is our business, our goal, our nature, and our gift. Let’s unwrap it now!

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 10-20-21

Peace is possible now. This is a fact, but it is also a Truth. Peace is possible in every moment, because it is not something we create, force, or establish – it is the essence of what we are. As divine expressions, as manifestations of what God imagined into being, we are what God is: love, life, wisdom, power, grace, and compassion. In short, we are PEACE. We do not have to work at peace, it is not a laborious task. It is what happens, what is revealed when we STOP working at conflict, competition, and contrast, when we stop working at lack and REAL-ize the Truth that there is only one Life and we are in it, It is in us, and there is NO “them”. Yes, we are unique individual creations, but the same life animates all of creation. Peace is the music of the spheres, the universal harmony out of which each individual expression is created. It is the only true reality, all else is our human-ness searching for its divinity. What if we opened our eyes, expanded our consciousness to perceive with our innate divinity, and recognized our true state? Might we REAL-ize that PEACE IS POSSIBLE NOW?

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15-20 minutes to sit with these thoughts and allow yourself to imagine what if we could see this truth right here and right now.

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 10-27-21

Peace is not only the absence of conflict, but also the presence of harmony. It is not only the silence of war, but the song of love. Peace is not only the end of lack, but also the birth of abundance. It is not only the release of separation, but also the embrace of unity. Peace is not only what we choose, but also what we are. Peace is a glass not half-empty, not even half-full, but overflowing with the truth of our inherent Oneness.

Please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these thoughts and let them become a part of you, an awareness you carry, a Truth you know.

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 11-3-21

Peace is not an impossible ideal.

Peace is not a distant goal.

Peace is not a reward or a prize to be won.

Peace is simply the recognition of the presence of God in,

through, and as all people, places, and things.

Peace is the true essence of life.

We fail to experience peace only when we fail to see past the facts of outer appearances to the truth of inner divinity. Let us shift our attention, redirect the focus of our outlook through the lens of God’s unconditional love, and we will uncover peace, we will experience peace, we will KNOW peace again.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit in the silence with these words. Weigh them with your heart’s awareness and feel the truth they contain. Make that truth your own and wrap yourself and your world in true peace.

                                                      Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 11-10-21

Twice a year, many people do a “closet cleaning”, releasing the things that no longer serve them and making room for new things. This week, I propose a mental and spiritual closet cleaning. Sit down in a comfortable position, take a few deep, centering breaths, and then use your imagination to open the door of your mental/spiritual closet. Take out each old thought and give it a good looking-over – does this old hurt still fit? Does this old resentment still match your style? Does that old belief in lack really look like you, as you are today? If it does, give it a nice pat, thank it for its service, and hang it back up – but if it does not, put it in the barbecue, set it alight, and watch it dissolve into nothingness – let it go and make room for a new thought. You get to choose the new thoughts to replace the ones being released, so treat yourself to a spiritual and mental shopping trip. Pick up some joy, grab a little happiness, choose compassion for yourself and others, whatever feels really good and makes you look FABULOUS in that mental mirror. When you are finished, close the closet and notice what you are feeling. Renewed? Alive? Contented? Perhaps even at peace?

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 11-17-21

Imagine, if you will, a very large tank of muddy water. I can clear the entire tank, eventually, with an eyedropper! All I have to do is continue to add clean water into that tank, one dropperful at a time. It would take a long time, but I could do it. Now imagine that every one of you, and every person you know, also has an eyedropper – suddenly the process gets a lot faster!

My proposal is this: each person who accepts this assignment will commit to spend one minute per day pouring love, harmony and peace into Race Consciousness. Choosing a time of 8:00 am, 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, or 8:00 pm, each person will stop whatever s/he is doing at that time and take a one-minute peace meditation break. That means that, because of the way time zones work, every hour, on the hour, for the rest of time, someone will be squeezing her/his eyedropper into the pool of Race Consciousness. This will create ripples of peace circling the globe as the time zones push the waves of conscious intention from city to city, from country to country, and from continent to continent. I will start the wave by posting this proposal to my Wednesday Peace meditation distribution list, and to anyone else who will listen. I have already begun.

I believe this simple little practice can have an astronomical effect – because all thoughts are prayers and the answer to every prayer is “YES!”, sooner or later, the human “100th monkey” will join the tide and all illusion of separation, and all of its attendant effects (poverty, hunger, war, etc.) will evaporate in that instant as pure, unadulterated Peace once again rules the planet.

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 11-24-21

In this week of Thanksgiving let us broaden the focus of our gratitude – since an attitude of gratitude primes the pump for blessings, let’s start with being  grateful for the Life that lives in, as, and through every human being, and for the love through which that life expresses; then we can be grateful for compassion; we can be grateful for our Oneness; we can be grateful for the peace that is at the heart of love. In that atmosphere of love, we can then truly be grateful for the Truth that sets us free: God is all there is, and all that is IS God expressing; so let us choose to recognize these blessings: the peace that is our nature, our essence, our goal and our gift. Let’s be grateful and unwrap the gift now!

If this resonates with you, please take 15 – 20 minutes to sit with these ideas, let them activate your gratitude, let them lift your consciousness, let them open your heart to peace.

                                                      Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 12-1-21

Realizing that Peace already exists, but is buried under millennia of human fear, illusion, and error thinking, today we begin to excavate this precious buried treasure.

Sit comfortably in a quiet place and breathe slowly and deeply. As you breath in, release tension from your body, as you breathe out, feel it melting away.

On the next inhalation, release tension from your mind, and as you exhale feel calmness settle over you.

On the third breath, visualize a tiny iridescent pink bubble in your heart

center, pulsing softly.

With each subsequent breath, see that bubble expanding, first to envelop your heart, then your body, and then the room in which you sit. Feeling calm and relaxed in this bubble, bring to the surface of your mind those rocks and boulders that hide your peace: fears, resentments, the illusion of lack, a false sense of separation, past hurts, worry, etc. Continuing to breathe into the bubble, watch as the love it represents dissolves each negative illusory rock into light.

Now see that light, together with the life you breathe into it, expanding the bubble even further, to encompass your home, your city, your country, and the world. Envision our shining blue marble, spinning in space inside a glistening iridescent bubble of love and know that its only possible atmosphere is Peace.

                                                      Love and blessings,

This is Sharon Esther Lampert’s mathematical and philosophical

proof for world peace:

WORLD PEACE EQUATION

                                                                   VG + VL = VP

(Virtue of the Good + Value of Life = Vision of Peace )                                                                                                                       VP = VG + VL

                                                                             VP = V(G + L)

                                                                               P = G + L

                                                                     Peace = Good + Life

                                                                     Peace = Good Life

If this resonates with you, you might take 15 – 20 minutes to sit with this equation, remembering that what we can envision, we can experience, and then do the arithmetic for yourself!

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 12-15-21

In today’s world of instant media, we are inundated with opportunities to look around us and see conflict, tragedy, terror, and lack. Too often, we accept that invitation and find ourselves perceiving no peace on earth, no peace anywhere around us. What can we do in that case? First, we recognize that we, like the man in the country tune, are “looking in all the wrong places”, because we are looking outside of ourselves, focusing on effects. The second step is to turn within and connect with the ever-present, constant, eternal, unlimited, irresistible peace of the Divine presence that lives and moves and has its being in, through, and as, each one of us – and each one of those we see struggling. In that presence, we allow ourselves to be saturated with peace, with unconditional love, with the Truth that God is all there is and God is PEACE. Once we have soaked our spiritual sponges in that peace, we bring ourselves back to the world and squeeze it out all over every situation, conflict, fear, or apparent lack. We are the place where God’s peace happens!

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words, to practice soaking until you are completely saturated with peace – and then go out and squeeze!

                                                      Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 12-22-21

When we say we desire world peace, what we really mean is a peaceful world. To paraphrase Lao Tzu, a peaceful world starts from a peaceful heart, so how do we create in ourselves a peaceful heart?

Passion

Expressed

As

Commitment

Evolves

From

Unconditional

Love

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15 – 20 minutes to sit in the silence with this idea, asking yourself these questions:

  • What is my passion?
  • Am I committed to it?
  • Do I love myself unconditionally? (because that is the only requirement for
  • loving others unconditionally)

Then listen, with an open heart, for the answers.

                                                      Love and blessings,

                                                                Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 12-29-21

I am always connected to the Energy Stream that balances the Universe.

I choose to always be awake and aware of its wonders.

Sometimes it seems that there is something amiss in the Universe.

Good people are having bad things happen.

Bad people seem to be wreaking havoc.

My heart saddens. My tears are real.

And even then, I know there is a bigger wholeness that is conspiring for the good of all.

Maybe it is to wake up those who are asleep.

Maybe it is to be so loud a noise that we have to pay attention.

I can only start with myself and make sure I am walking the path of peace.

That I am being the love and kindness I want to see in the world.

That I say what I think needs to be said to forward the conversation of love and acceptance for all.

I am grateful that there are many voices like mine joining together.

I am grateful that people are waking up and creating the consciousness that will

collectively be the change we want to see in the world.

And so it is.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words and feel their truth, knowing them as your own.

                                                          Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-5-22

Peace is our goal, yes? So how do we reach this goal? We can treat it like any other goal – determine what it looks like, create a list of action steps to move us towards it, decide how to know when we have achieved it, and then what? Then we JUST START. In any endeavor, we put one foot in front of the other, and keep on putting one foot in front of the other, focusing only on the current step, and the next thing we know, we have walked a mile!

The good news is that the definition of this goal and the action steps we need are both simple and natural. They are, in fact, the same thing: love. Unconditional love for all life IS the fundamental definition of inner peace, and universal inner peace is the fundamental definition of world peace, so the action step (there’s only one, repeated forever) is love. Love yourself, see yourself as one with all life and loving all life is the automatic next step, so sit down, take a few deep breaths, and give yourself the love that you are. Spend 15-20 minutes just soaking in that love and watch as it overflows into, onto, over, around and through everything and everyone you meet.

“One little person, giving all of her time to peace, makes news. Many people, giving some of their time, can make history.” ~~ Peace Pilgrim

I believe NOW is OUR time to make history. If this resonates with you, please give 15-20 minutes of your time today to recognizing peace, realizing peace, radiating peace, and know that together we do make history – a history of peace on earth.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-19-22

Today’s meditation comes from a lovely little magazine I have read daily for the past 40 years, Unity’s Daily Word:

I radiate peace to all people. Within me lies a center of peace that radiates calm, loving energy. I can access this infinite peace within myself at any time. As I become familiar with my inner peace, it becomes integrated into everything I do.

Even if daily life brings stress, I have the power to return again to my center. I share my peace with others naturally as I begin to think consciously and speak in peaceful ways.

I respond to the world around me from a place of harmony and goodwill. Divinely inspired peace has the power to transform all who come into contact with it. So I act and react with quiet serenity. I radiate peace.

If this resonates with you, please take 15 – 20 minutes to sit with these words of truth, allow them to saturate your awareness and then allow that awareness to direct your focus, your outlook and your actions – go out and BE peace.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 1-26-22

Today we access the meditative state through chanting. You may repeat the chant aloud or just mentally, but it is recommended that you focus on your breath as you chant.

Inhale                                       Exhale

The one                                   Life

is God                                       Life,

is my                                         life,

is all                                           life.

Repeat this chant slowly for 15 – 20 minutes, until you hear it in your pulse and feel it in your very center – your being. Through this chant we erase the illusion of separation, so peace is all that remains.

Love and blessings,

World Peace Meditation for 2-2-22

                                                               Peace

                                                               Emerges

                                                               As

                                                              Conscious

                                                               Evolution

It is both our birthright and our responsibility to foster this consciousness, in ourselves, in our world, and in our universe.

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to sit silently with this thought and open your heart and mind to taking control of your own spirit’s evolution – and watch your own inner peace emerge.

World Peace Meditation for 2-9-22

When my daughter was very small, she said to me, “Black, white, red, brown, yellow – what difference does it make? When you take off the skin, we all look the same!” She had no idea she was being metaphysical, but she was profoundly so. God created all that is out of Its own substance, out of Its own Self – an infinite variety of shapes, sizes, colors, talents, abilities, perspectives, likes and dislikes – but when we “take the bodies off”, when we look within, the essence, the Beingness of every single one is the same. It is God-essence from which we are all made. We are an amazing collection of God-soup bowls – each one unique, but each filled with the same Divine substance! If we emptied all of our bowls into one big pot (let’s call it Race Consciousness), we couldn’t tell where one of us ended and the next began – there could be no disharmony in the soup! What if we choose to see ourselves, and everyone else, from this soup-bowl perspective? How peaceful would it be to live in and as God-soup? How irresistible would it be to join us?

If this resonates with you, please take 15 -20 minutes to sit with this idea and feel the oneness and perfection of God-soup.

Love and blessings,

                                           Connecting

                                           Everyone

We can choose to make this affirmation the truth of our consciousness,  and realize world peace now!

If this resonates with you, please take 15-20 minutes to soak up this idea and allow it to guide your thoughts, words, and actions – and watch what happens. ;o)

World Peace Meditation for 2-23-22

Inner, personal peace is a conscious awareness of the presence of God in, through, around and as one’s own self, one’s very being. The wonder and delight of that awareness is that it can be cultivated and it can become constant. When that happens, the awareness grows and expands to include everyone and everything. It becomes Divine vision that sees and recognizes only Divinity, and suddenly it becomes contagious – an aspect of Race Consciousness that brings peace, from personal to Universal, into every corner of existence. I call that world peace. It is my goal, my intention, and my purpose, and I invite you to adopt it, too.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15-20 minutes to sit in silence and focus your attention, your awareness, on the atmosphere of Divinity in which you live. Can you feel the peace?

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 3-2-22

PEACE

Shut your eyes, take a breath.

Let go of the external, and just feel…

your spirit.

Do you feel it?

The warmth and love, the being…

the peace?

PEACE

It is not in some distant space;

You do not need to only dream.

Such wonder is within you.

The power of peace.

Quiet your mind’s talk, go deep in your soul,

and feel it there.

PEACE

It is in you, just as all things are.

And it is perfectly possible to live it.

To be it.

Be the peace you want,

be the peace you are.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15-20 minutes to sit with this poem and feel its rhythm, its flow, its truth vibrating within you.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 3-9-22

In honor of the Season for Nonviolence and in recognition of the conflict occurring in Ukraine currently, today's meditation is the wonderful Gandhi Blessing:

I offer you peace.

I offer you love.

I offer you friendship.

I see your beauty.

I hear your need.

I feel your feelings.

My wisdom flows from the Highest Source.

I salute that Source in you.

Let us work together for unity and love.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words, see, hear, and feel them vibrating in your consciousness, know them as Truth.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

World Peace Meditation for 3-16-22

It has been said that a candle loses nothing when its flame is used to light another candle, and this is a powerful truth, but even more important is the fact that every time one candle lends its flame to another candle, the light is increased. So it is with the flame of oneness that burns in every human heart: every time we share our light with anyone, the light grows, not just as two separate lights, but as one beacon of peace, harmony, and oneness. So today we focus our attention on that flame of oneness as we breathe, deeply and slowly, watching the glow expand as we let these words float in our awareness:

There is only one light.

There is only one life.

There is only One.

One light.

One life.

One.

I invite you to take the next 15-20 minutes to breathe into that flame and let these words resonate in your consciousness.

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri

I am an agent of love in this world.

                                                Where there is hatred, I Am loving-kindness;

                                                Where there is injury, I Am forgiveness;

                                                Where there is doubt, I Am insight;

                                                Where there is despair, I Am hope;

                                                Where there is darkness, I Am light;

Where there is sadness, I Am joy.

May I console as well as be consoled.

                                                May I understand as well as be understood;

                                                May I love as well as be loved;

For in giving we receive; In self-forgetting, we find

                                                In forgiving, we are forgiven;

                                               And In dying to self-centeredness,

                                               We are born as One

remembering that “May” not a request, but rather the setting of an intention.

May you feel and live this peace!

As little children we learned the Golden Rule:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

As adults we learn the Platinum Rule:

Do unto others as they would have you do unto them.

As World Peace Creators, we use the Titanium Rule:

Do onto others as Love would do.

Peace is the inevitable outcome of internalizing the Titanium Rule towards all beings

– including, of course – or better yet, beginning with, ourselves.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to let this rule soak into

your consciousness, and then revel in the peace, grace, and joy of living from it.

Deepak Chopra said, “The world is a reflection of where we are [in consciousness]. If we don’t like the reflection, it really doesn’t help to break the mirror.” Since it is our consciousness that creates the ‘mirror’, and we have the power to determine our consciousness, we can decide to clean the mirror and give it the picture of perfect peace to be reflected as our world. Peace is the nature of God, so it is our nature, too. We need only polish our awareness of this truth to make the mirror shine.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with this idea until your own personal mirror is unfogged and then reflect that image of perfect peace as the world you create and inhabit.

This week I invite you to move your peace meditation into your daily

life, at least for today, by practicing mindfulness of the breath. Here’s

how it works:

  1.  Choose one of your daily activities, such as washing dishes, walking the dog, walking to/from work, etc.
  2. While engaged in that activity, become aware of your breathing
  3. As you feel your breath, repeat this prayer, one line per breath:
                                    * I breathe in peace
                                    * I move in peace
                                    * I live in peace
                                    * I am peace

If this resonates with you, you might repeat this exercise as often as possible, until it becomes second nature, and then observe the change in your own consciousness, and in the atmosphere in which you live.

Ernest Holmes, in his famous “What We Believe”, said, “We Believe in the

Individualization of the Spirit in us, and that all people are individualizations of the One Spirit.” I believe we see discord and feel the absence of peace when we forget this Truth: we are all, ALL OF US, expressions of God, made out of God – the God that is Love, Harmony, and Peace. So, this is a wake-up call – go look in the mirror and say,

“Good morning, God!” and for the rest of the day, greet every face, in person, on TV or the radio or on the Internet, or in the newspaper with the same recognition, “Good morning, God!” It might make you giggle, but that’s okay because what makes us laugh we remember, and this is worth remembering.

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with these words, rehearse your greeting, and then go spread peace in the world around you!

Today we look at a quote from James Twyman’s EMISSARY OF LIGHT:

When you seek peace where it is, within, then you find it everywhere, even in the world. When you seek peace where it is not, or outside, then it is nowhere to be found. When you find peace within, you are able to see the truth. Conflict may still seem to exist, but you now see past it. This is the function of any Emissary of Light. By experiencing peace as the only true reality, we see it present everywhere, even where conflict and war seem to rule. Then we project that vision to humanity, keeping the spark alive that remembers truth. We do not try to end wars, but to

dissolve the untrue ideas that cause war. We see peace even when it is hidden beneath centuries of hate and fear. By experiencing the reality of peace, we overlook the unreality of conflict. This is how the Emissaries heal the world.

If these words resonate with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with this idea. Let it percolate through your consciousness until you discover the Emissary in your soul, and then unleash it!

Love and blessings,

Rev. Sharri
